Jack Stanley – Professional NYC Tour Guide
Jack Stanley is an historian, author, teacher and lecturer in many diverse areas of expertise including American history, technological history, the history of sound recording, New York City, and world history in general. He has been on the history faculty of the prestigious York Preparatory School on Central Park West in New York City. He has been the Curator of The Thomas Edison Museum in Menlo Park for ten years. A well-known guest commentator on numerous television programs, including The History Channel, the Discovery Channel, PBS, among others, Mr. Stanley has also lectured at many universities around the world. An avid researcher and interviewer, over the years Jack has interviewed well over sixty presidents, politicians, news anchors, artists, performers and even astronauts for use in future publications.
A seventh-generation New Yorker, Jack takes special pride in revealing little known facts about the history of this most remarkable and complex city.
